🌟 DesignUp is a young and well-loved brand in the conference space, and one of the largest communities. The community and conversation has grown from Designers to now include CXOs, Product Leaders, Marketing and Talent Specialists, Engineers, Researchers, Writers, Makers and Creators.

We focus on great content, and the people who can deliver these - well-known, well-respected thinkers, doers, change-makers, experts or gurus. They often straddle multiple skill sets and multi-specialisations. In this role, you’ll get to meet and work with many of these amazing individuals.

We’re supported and sponsored by some of the many visible and emerging brands, organisations and products. In this role, you’ll get to liaise and work with many professionals who represent the entire spectrum of our sponsors.

DesignUp has been listed amongst the "most exciting design events in the world", and is regularly featured in the media with multiple stories on YourStory, on HardCopy as well as HT Mint and The Hindu (amongst many many others). Is this you?

• Thoughtfully communicating with fellow human beings does not sound alien to you. Neither does communicating across various media - phones, emails, messages etc.
• You need not be a social butterfly, or a gregarious extrovert - but possibly, an introvert who has adapted or an ambivert who is comfortable with balancing!
• You are someone who responds timely, is able to communicate efficiently - and can set expectations clearly.
• And you are good with English - simple, clear, structured English. Not the dramatic kind!
• You must be very good at breaking down tasks, even seemingly simple ones, prioritising and getting it done, without need for reminders. Proactively. Ideally, you may have done something similar before - maybe for a few years!
• At heart, you are a chess-player, even if you never played the game - quietly thinking a few steps ahead.
• You are at home with new technology, tech-tools and time-saving automation.

The Role

This is a critical role for DesignUp and includes the following key tasks -

• Planning, scheduling and organising all conference-related meetings and events for the year.
• Liaising with potential sponsors, partners and vendors for the annual conference and all other related events.
• Tracking lead referrals, ensuring budget costs and finalising sponsorship deals and documentation.
• Liaising with hotels for facilities and all logistical aspects including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
